Good Morning Runners!
I’m inviting all of you to join the EmpoweRUN: The Power is in YOUR run, a race for a cause organized by the future doctors of UP Manila’s College of Allied Medical Professions Student Council (CAMP-SC) and the College of Public Health Student Council (CPH-SC). This running event is for the benefit of Tahanang Walang Hagdan and the UP-PGH Department of Rehabilitation Medicine.

1. Deposit your payment to any Banco de Oro Branch.

2. Download a copy of the registration form online. Fill it out.
3. Scan the registration form and deposit slip.
E-mail it to empowerun.reg@gmail .com
4. Wait for confirmation text or e-mail within 48 hours of submission.
Additional P100 if want your race kit to be delivered.
Empwerun Race Routes:
1.Who can join?
Any PERSON! This event is for the empowerment of persons with disabilities (PWDs). Every person is and should be equal to his brothers and sisters, so if you are a person, you like to run, come and join EMPOWERun!
2.Where can I register?
UP students can register in UP Manila, or contact us for easier registration in Diliman. You may also register at R.O.X: Bonifacio High Street, Taguig and A Runner’s Circle: Aloha Hotel, Quirino Ave., cor. Roxas Blvd., Manila
3.How much is the registration fee?
For the 3K and 5K legs, the registration fee will be 500 pesos.
For the 10K leg, the registration fee will be 600 pesos.
For UP students, once you present your UP ID, you immediately get 150 pesos off!
For early bird registrants, you get 100 pesos off! (Until September 30, 2011 only.)

4.What is included in the registration fee?
You get a race kit which includes your bib, and an awesome singlet for the first 1000 runners!
5.What sizes do the singlets come in?
The singlets come from XS to XXL. The design and sizes of the singlet can be found here.
6.When does registration start?
Early bird registration is from August 27, 2011 to September 30, 2011. Regular registrations starts October 1, 2011.
7.Are the race bib nos. transferrable?
We need a signed consent form as well the the photocopy of the assigned racer’s ID in order for bib number transfers to be made.
8.What awards or prizes will be given away?
For the winners of 3K, 5K and 10K legs, Fitness First membership gift certificates will be awarded to the winners.
9.Where will the race be held? Where is the venue?
The race will start at the CCP Complex, Pasay City.
10. Is there parking at the venue?
There is parking inside the CCP Complex.
11. Are there water stations along the route?
12. Are there restrooms or comfort areas for runners?
13. Is there a baggage counter where I can leave my things?
A baggage counter will be, however, we suggest bringing as little things as possible in order to prevent any losses of valuables and less crowding in the assembly area.
14. What time will the program end?
Awarding ceremonies will start at 8:30am.
