The Gold Rush: Rebisco @ 50th Anniversary Fun Run

In celebration of its Golden year in the Philippines, Rebisco, in cooperation with Xavier88 and LeadPack, brings us The Gold Rush: Rebisco Golden Anniversary Fun Run, which is set on April 7, 2013 at the Bonifacio Global City.

Runners of 5k & 10K will receive a very unique finishers item: The X Sports Band, which can be personalized. Runners can have their names and other contact information engraved in the metal part of the band. The X Sports band comes into different colors of blue, yellow and white.

The race spearheaded by Batch 88 of Xavier School, who is also celebrating its Silver Jubilee this year, Rebisco becomes instrumental in funding the scholarship programs and other charity works of Xavier School. One of these is the Xavier Educational Trust Fund, which has given many less fortunate but talented children the opportunity to have a first class education.

I grew up as a kid with Hansel biscuits and other Rebisco products. I know all the other 90s kids can relate. Those were the days where you can buy something with your one peso coin at your suking tindahan. Haha. I think it would be nice to run down childhood memory lane during this race. I suggest we all invite our childhood friends and run this race together. I’m sure it will be fun. 🙂
